Bio: Shad Perlich

Shad- Tattoo Artist / Owner

Shad grew up on the Central Coast and moved away at age 17. He learned to tattoo by apprenticing in an old biker-style shop, admittedly not the best start but better than nothing. From there he traveled the US, living in Colorado, New York and Europe. Shad returned to the area to be close to his family, his wife got a job here, the nice weather, and being completely over living in large cities. After tattooing 8 years Shad has been developing a stylized realism approach to tattoos in addition to pieces that utilize abstraction. His favorite tattoos are ‘bad ass’ large-scale tattoos- where customers come in with an idea and a lot of room for artistic freedom. He also wanted to say his wife is the best person he’s ever met and his family is awesome.
